as most ppl have already known,i'm doing sales.lyk those promoters in the IMM watsons.but mine is more of the one-to-one basis.esp when the 'store' is on the 7th floor where hardly anyone goes to.
but even if there's a crowd,its still mainly me-to-one-person or one family.no,its not easier to speak to a small group.cuz there's a tendency tt they bombard u with qns.those with office jobs,TREASURE IT.
so back to my carpet.u noe y i got it at a special offer?cuz the uncle gave the offer to me.its lyk a $10 cut-off from the original $40 la.envy me.totallie.and he's the uncle hu says i'm gd at sales.hahahas.
but seriously,i kinda lyk the job.except for the fact tt my feet have some problem,i kinda love it.i can meet new ppl,see new faces,n get new name cards.i got 1 card from a gym manager today.so cool rite?yea.
although my pay is lyk peanuts,n i get shunned by ppl most of the tyme,i get to learn new skills lyk how to see which person can be a potential customer.i duno how to explain,but i can do tt now.
i also get to experience different attitudes.every1 is diff and i get to see nearly every type of attitudes.
there's the very attentive,interested,poilte and will buy in the end type.sumtymes when i get such customers,i worry for them.wad if they get cheated by some bad guys?
there's also the listen to 2 sentences n just say "ok.i'll get 1." type.when i meet them,i wonder if my work is too easy.cuz i spent 2 mintues to get them to fork out $60 or more.its as if they're my good fren.
there's also some ppl hu bitch ard n ask TONS of qns but will still buy relectunatly.i'll always curse in my heart "dun buy la.not as if i wont survive w/o u." but in the end i'm happy tt i earned some $$.LOLS.
next up is those hu just come to u,take a flyer,look at it n give back the flyer.i hate these ppl.IRRITATING.
recently i've been getting the very-nice-poilte-and-smiling-always-but-dont-buy ppl.grrr.i always smile back and hope they'll get back to me.but seems lyk onlie a couple has.ohh well.
and when its a couple,its always "u say lehh?" and they point to each other.cant they make a decision tgr?gosh.
very often i get customers lyk "guys lyk the idea,but girl disagrees.or vice versa." i always shake my head saying tt they're missing out on a new invention.but its their loss,not mine. =D
i met this very extreamly negative person once.i hate him can.when my boss gave him a flyer,he went "NO.I DONT WANT." but he actuallie looked at the demo n was telling his family sth.so i tot of approaching him.but hu knew,he turned ard,headed for the escalator n shouted "DIDNT KNOW UPSTAIRS WAS SUCH A STUPID PLACE." he will seriously get beaten up 1 day.i bet to my last cent.
very frequently i get ppl who will walk exceptionally fast n avoid me.i dont stink dude.
today,i toked this guy into buyin.and he almost did.but this lady ruined it all.cuz she bought it once.and was coming back for refills.so when i was writing out the invoice,the man asked the lady and she told him "u wan clean,mop urself better." and he actuallie walked away.BUMMER!!
oh well,at least i still earned abit.when i was closing the stall,this guy came to me to get refills as well.he asked if he could get a discount.but i couldnt give him,cuz i had an invoice to fill in.thank goodness my mum was there.u noe wads the deal?buy 12 refills,get 1 free.AND HE ACTUALLIE BOUGHT 12.omg. those r afew tt i meet.if i were to write out everyone,i'll die from typing.LOLS.
although the crowd was DEAD today,i still managed to earned quite a sum.totallie cool.and i'm glad my boss trusts me.even though he's my mum's fren,but i feel tt trust cant be gained by connections.
he actuallie let me run the store SOLO.set up,close down anytyme i wish.and he trusts me with the money.i feel honoured actuallie.its my 1st job n i've onlie been doing this for 1 week,excluding the chicken pox period.i'm seriously gratefull he lets me use his product to practise my presentation n test how gd i am in sales.
i'm such a flutterhead today.i 4got so many tings.1st i called jack's place,den ngeeannpoly.but i 4got to call the bursary ting to ask how to go.den i 4got tt i switched to the liquid eyeliner n used the crayon.n i4got my mascara n blusher n eyeshadow.next i 4got to wear my sports shoes n wore slippers.n i froze on the bus cuz i didnt brg jacket.omg.i'm so 4getful.
anw i bought this top ytd.its so nice.it goes with jeans.totallie my style.
i lyk the 2 beady tings at the side.damn nice.i shall wait for my chicken pox 'wounds' to recover.
n tmr i'm gona get my edusave merit bursary.yays.tt's $250 if i'm not wrg.cool man.the minister touch my hand once i get $250.i should go for more of these ceremonies[however u spell it].
and sun's my mum's burfday.i've booked JACK'S PLACE for her.dad's not coming back on tt day.he'll be back on 17th.SAD!!but nvm i guess.
here's wad i intend to order.since my mum's diabetic,i'll just give her 1 slice of tiramisu.cuz if i order a big cake,n she cant eat,i'll feel paiisehh eating HER cake.den there'll be house wine.although its not so nice,but i cant finish a bottle rite?dad's not here n she cant drink it.lobster soup is a must and maybe some steak or meat.
tt's probably all i guess.i actuallie had in mind $100 cuz i wanted to get the baker to replace the normal sugar with equal sugar.but i went round the whole of parkway n none of them wanted to do it cuz the cake wont come out nice.dammit.
oh well.guess i'll wait 4 dad to buy a present then.
